    Pre-application requirements

    You will have to prepare for:

    • a yoga mat
    • computer / smartphone
    • internet connection
    • 2 yoga blocks
    • 1 pillow or bolster or cushion
    • 1 strap

    Certifications

    Students who complete their training before September 30, 2020, are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®)

    How the training works

    This training takes place online from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. It will be a minimum 25-day program, which can also be self-paced. However, to be eligible for the Yoga Alliance certificate, it has to be completed before September 30, 2020. This teacher training is held online. Arohan Yoga is located in Rishikesh, India (GMT+5:30), and they will live-stream yoga classes via Zoom which you can participate in from the comfort of your home. All live sessions will be recorded for people who cannot join live sessions due to time differences. They can watch the recordings of live sessions at their convenience. Three teachers will be available on Whatsapp to answer queries regarding postures etc.. At the end of the course, students are required to record full sessions on each style for final evaluation. There will be separate quiz/exams for theory, anatomy, and philosophy

    • 11.00 am (India), 06.30 am (London) - Ashtanga Vinyasa
    • 02.30 pm (India), 10.00 am (London) - Hatha Yoga
    • 04.15 pm (India), 11.45 am (London) - Yoga Humanities/Philosophy (pre-recorded only)
    • 08.30 pm (India), 04.00 pm (London) - Yoga Anatomy & Physiology (pre-recorded only)

    EVALUATION PROCEDURE and GRADING CRITERIA

    Teaching Practicum: Students are supposed to send separate videos for all three yoga styles-Ashtanga, Hatha, and Yin. The respective teachers will assess the students on the basis of the videos. Moreover, students will also be examined separately on theory; Anatomy and Philosophy
