Authentic & Traditional Yoga
Spiritual, Meditative & Healing. Sarvaguna is committed to transmitting the traditional Yoga from its roots. They value and preserve the traditional Yoga from the Vedas, sharing a Gurukul deep spiritual and healing approach.
Different from a western school approach, Sarvaguna traditional teachers' aim is not to give you "the" answers but to guide you to open your own knowledge from within. Encourages you to be your own teacher.
They do not feed you fish, they teach you to fish.
They believe that the best way to truly understand the deep meanings and effects of Yoga is the experience.
Meditation & Healing Experts
The practice at Sarvaguna Yoga balances physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of your personality. Ayurvedic Nutrition & Asanas heal your body. Philosophy & Meditation heal your mind.
They believe meditation is key to come back to your nature. Any practice should be performed in a meditative state in order to achieve the desired effects. They teach different tools for meditation (visualization, mantra, chanting meditation, chakra meditation, guided, silent meditation...).
Above this, Keshava is a Reiki master always eager to share (through individual sessions or initiations) this powerful natural healing technique which is so connected with Yoga.
Spiritual: small groups in nature
Sarvaguna small groups allow deeper connections among the students and with the teachers.
All the teachers teach from their heart and they focus on each individual's needs in the present moment.
Both locations, in Dharamshala and in Goa, are beautiful natural spots which allow your connection with nature and the spaces or stillness and silence to support your inner connection.
Every morning starts with a meditation, maybe on the beach or in the forest. Always listen to the sound of the nature awakening with you.
Complementing styles: Yin & Vinyasa
► Due to the western students' demand to also get the knowledge of the most popular Yoga styles in the west, Keshava decided to incorporate western teachers and styles, complementing the program.
Vinyasa flow is thought as a more Yan-active asana expression of Yoga, with its own particular benefits and indications.
On the other hand Yin-passive, is a perfect complement to your practice and especially to the intensity of a Yoga Teacher Training.
Yin Yoga is usually performed at the end of the schedule and it supports the students to restore and integrate all the knowledge and experiences lived better.
CONNECTION BETWEEN YOGA PHILOSOPHY & MODERN PSYCHOLOGY/SCIENCE
Passionate teachers embodying Yoga values
Spiritual Ashram lifestyle.
Small groups allowing high personal attention. Permanent support to keep guiding you in your path.
I feel blessed to find Keshava, the founder of Sarvaguna. He is an expert with really valuable experience in both fields. He lives a monastic yogi life and follows the teachings of his Yogic masters while he is also a University scientific doctor which brings Modern Psychology principles and Quantum physics into his teachings.
You can feel the spiritual atmosphere that surrounds Sarvaguna, a space for Yoga practice, healing & discovering our inner awareness to pour out as Pure Love, Compassion and Bliss.
The intention is far beyond than providing you with a course and a title. Sarvaguna aims to be always available to support you in the path.
