Airport pick-up can be arranged in advance when flight details are provided. |
Visa & Health information lease make sure that your passport is valid for more than 6 months beyond your arrival date in India. Please ensure you have a visa prior to your departure. E-Visas are the most common and are 60 days. Tourist Visas are usually valid for 3-6 months. Although, in some countries, you can now get a Tourist Visa for up to 5 years. Our advice is to say that you are not studying with us but rather on a yoga holiday. The current fee for a Tourist Visa on Arrival (TVOA) is US$ 60 per passenger excluding fees for credit/debit cards. You may be asked to provide proof of adequate finances for the duration of your stay in India. Officially, an onward/return ticket is a requirement for a visa, and visitors are frequently asked to show their departure ticket on arrival. Tourist Visa: A tourist visa can be obtained from an Indian Consulate/Embassy in your home country. Foreigners who enter India under the Tourist Visa Exemption category and would like to leave and re-enter India may do so for a cumulative duration that does not exceed 90 days and is within a 6-month period from the date of first entry. We recommend you use this option if you wish to stay more than 30 days in India. We can also provide a letter of invitation for your yoga teacher training in India. When traveling anywhere in the world you should always consult your government’s travel advisories before you depart. It’s better to take advice from your home health agencies. Vaccinations – be sure to check what vaccinations you may need when traveling to India and ensure you have received the required vaccinations well before your scheduled departure date. |
Weather & What to Bring Ashvem beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. Early mornings and nights are chilly, afternoons tend to be hot and windy. Yoga Mat: We recommend that you bring or purchase your own yoga mat for optimal hygiene and comfort. Our center will supply belts, blocks, and meditation cushions. Torch/flashlight: Power outages are frequent in India. They are part of the charm but you’ll probably want some help seeing in the dark! |
